Another Year of Record GCSE Results!

Students and staff at Bishopsford Arts College are celebrating another year of exam success with year 11s smashing all previous records in their GCSE results. Students achieving 5 or more A*-C rose again to 79%.The key measure of students achieving 5 or more A*-C grades including English and Maths, rose by 7% to 42%, exceeding the Local Authority target. 
 

Notable successes include Vinojah Velauthan achieving 10 A*, 4 As and 1 B and Head Girl Kemi Taiwo who achieved 2 A*, 9 As and 3 Bs.

Andrew Barker, Principal, said: “I am delighted with these results, which represent yet another strong improvement in our students’ achievements and demonstrate how far Bishopsford has come in recent years. I would like to thank staff for their hard work and commitment and to congratulate students on their successes”
